Just like yesterday, you are going to create a plot diagram for The Stolen Party.
REMEMBER:
1. Determine the climax first (the turning point that must make the ending possible)
***This gives you a stopping point once you are working your way up the plot diagram in the rising action. 2. Determine the setting and the main characters (Exposition)
3. Determine the conflict . Remember the tension is building in the Rising Action
***These events should be main events that are in sequential order and lead up to the climax.
4. What events helped "solve" the conflict and started wrapping up the story?
(Falling Action)
***These events should also be in sequential order.
5. What was the resolution?
Consider the theme of the selection.
