ASK A Customer Service Representative (CSR) Q & A’s
Dear CSR,
Dear CSR,
Sincerely, Weary Worker
I have been in my new job for over six months.
When I started I had the name display on my
phone changed, but the billing statement I
receive every month still has the old employee’s name on it. Is there a way I can
change this to reflect my name?
Dear Weary,
Sincerely, Dyadic Me
It sounds like you are in need of a CALL PICK-UP group! Instead of running over phone to phone as they ring, Telecom
can program a CALL PICK-UP group for you. This features
allows you to answer calls from another extension within your
specified PICK group without leaving your desk! All you have to
do is listen for a phone to ring, press your programmed “PICK”
button and voilá, you have the call! You don’t have to be a
weary worker anymore!
Dear Dyadic You,
I am always covering my co-worker’s phone. Is there a way
I can answer their incoming calls when their phone rings
without having to run across the room?
303-724-XXXX AND 303-315-XXXX
When you hear the phone ring, press the preprogrammed
PICK button on your phone to retrieve the call
303-556-XXXX AND 303-352-XXXX
When you hear the phone ring, EITHER press the preprogrammed button on your phone OR dial #4 to retrieve the call
I can see how this would be frustrating. Thankfully, there is a really quick fix! All you need to do
to change a name on a billing statement is to send
an e-mail to our billing department.
Please include the service you want changed and
the name it should read.
