Monday march 10th 2014.
We left Tahiti on Saturday march 8th to Los Angeles. We
took Air Tahiti Nui and during the flight we ate, we slept,
we listen to music, we played games and we watched
movies. After we transit to Los Angeles and we have
changed our euros and dollars to pounds. We went to eat
in the restaurant and we went to the Ross shop. After we
took the Air New Zealand airplane to go to London.
Arrived in the airport Rebecca the teacher of Abbey school
welcomed us. The temperature was 12°C. After the shuttle
came to pick up us to go to the Judd’s Folly hotel. After
some people at gym center other people went took a
shower and slept. This night we ate rumsteak and fries
with different sauces. We had a good diner with Rebecca.
Flights were boring.
Tuesday march 11th 2014
This morning we took the full english breakfast. We took
the train to Canterburry. Rebecca was our guide. We
visited the donjon. In the donjon there were expensives
houses because it protect. It was very cold. We meet
Jonathan a french teacher. In the street there were many
shop souvenirs and we bought too much souvenirs. After
we went to eat in an old pub, we ate grilled chicken,
salmon, bread. We visited the cathedral, walls and roof
were thoroughtly scult. It was so wonderful. Teachers left
us to do shopping but we just have a look. The walk in the
street was very cool with five boys. We have listened
musicians who played the guitar, violons and trumpets to
get some money. We gave some money and one powerade
juice. We laughed so much and we had a very good day
together.
Wednesday march 12th 2014
We woke up at 7:30 am and we took our breakfast. We
went at Abbey school in cars with Jonathan and Rebecca.
First of all we had a conversation with the headteacher of
Abbey school who’s name is Catherine. We sang a welcome
tahitian song for her and we introduced ourselves. She
appreciated. We gave necklaces and she loved it. Their
school have 1000 students from 10 to 19 years old. They
have history and religion class, autism class with 32
students, french, spanish, english, maths, PE (physical
education) classes. They have a gym room, a dance class, a
music class and an informatic class too. Sam and Nicole,
the Rebecca students were our new guide. We went to play
football with them. We introduced ourselves to the
Rebecca class and we sang a tahitian song for them. After
that we played a game to meet students. At 1:00 pm we ate
in the Abbey restaurant, we ate the traditional food of
London, fish and chips. Starters, mains and deserts were so
EXCELLENT. After we went in a pub to drink coke and
sprite. Finally we came back to the hotel.
Thursday march 13th 2014
We woke up, we took our breakfast and we get ready.
Rebecca and Jonatan picked us. We took the train with
students and teachers to the center of London. We tried to
talk in English with them. It was hard but we succeeded.
First, me and my friend Mariihaunui stayed between us.
After we began to be more open. Our team was composed
of me, Mariihaunui, Daisy, Nicole, Eboni and Sophie. Girls
were very pretty and kind. Arrived over there we visited
the city. We saw the Big ben, Buckingham Palace and the
Queen Elizabeth. We saw also statues of different people
like Nelson Mandela. We walked too much and we were so
hot. After a long time to walk we went to visit the China
town and we chose a China restaurant. We had a buffet of
chicken, pork, rice, meat, potatoes and chips. It was very
excellent. Students were very kind and sympatic. We took
photos and we had a good day with students. We danced
and listen to music in the street. Students danced with us
and it was very funny.
Friday march 14th 2014
This day we woke up in late but we had the time to take our
breakfast. We prepared our luggages and we checked out and we
went at school. Arrived over there, we changed in the same toilets
for 6 students, me and my friends. We saw many students who
were waiting for us. Students and teachers were all surprised to
see us like that. Boys were so sexy with their costums. When
Mister DEANE presents our island, our cultures, our languages,
our traditions, teachers looked us non-stop. We did our show. It
was odd for them to see us like that. Many people appreciated our
show, they claped in their hands longtime. And some people
accepted to come to dance with us. We did 2 shows for students
and one show for teachers. When we danced for teachers, they
were so excited, happy and surprised too to see I think the boys
almost naked. We saw the smile on their faces. They said us thank
you and we gave them necklaces and they were so happy. After
our show, we said good bye to students and we went to take the
tube to go the center of London. Arrived over there, we went to
the Holiday Inn Express hotel. We went to eat in the fastfood, we
ate hamburger and hot dog with fries. The night we went to eat,
we went to walk in the street and visited. Our relationship began
to be better and strong. I loved this day, we were like stars.
Saturday march 15th 2014
We woke up and we went to take our breakfast. We
prepared and we went to visit the city. We took the tube
and we walked a little time to find the London eye. And
when we saw this attraction we were surprised and
wondering because it was giant and beautiful. We went in
the movie theater, 4D presentation to see how the London
eye has been built. We went to buy our tickets and we
waited to go on the tower. When we went on the cabin, the
wheel began to turn and we saw many monuments, the
thames, the rivers. We took so many photos because it was
beautiful. When we went down we saw, a man who copied
Charlie Chaplin, were dancing, who cipied th robbot and
women who imitated a cat, Mary Poppins, played guitar.
After we went to eat in the China restaurant. After we
came back to the hotel. We played the ukulele (a
traditional instrument) and we prepared our luggages. We
took a shower and we went to sleep. What a beautiful day.
Sunday march 16 2014
We checked out at 9:00 am and we took a taxi to go to the
airport. We took the BA airplane and we have almost two
hours flights to Paris. I slept during all the flight. Arrived at
the Orly airport we took taxi to go at our hotel. Our taxi
driver was odd but kind. He made us paid less than the real
rate. Arrived at the Carmes hotel we took a shower and we
went to walk in the 3 street Saint Michel (5ème
arrondissement). We went to eat in the Latin street and
many people stopped us to go to eat in their restaurant but
we choose only one restaurant, the food was so good, the
meat, the salad, the fries and the dessert were so excellent.
We went to the french speciality restaurant. After eating,
we went to buy some souvenirs, T-shirt, mini Eiffel tower,
cap, and bracelet and sun glasses. After we have visited
and we saw Notre dame de Paris Cathedral and before to
come back at the hotel we made a stop over to see the
Eiffel tower. After we came back to the hotel.
Monday march 17th 2014
This day, we woke up early in the morning, we took our
luggages and we took taxi to go to the Charles De Gaulle
airport. We made the two airport of Paris and we took the
BA airplane again to transit again to London. Arrived in
London we took the Air Zealand airplane to go to Los
Angeles. After we took our luggages, we passed the
customs and we went out faster to the airport. After took
the “Dollars shuttle” to go to pick up our car. First we had a
car of 8 seats but there was no key therefore we had
another car of 7 seats. We took our luggages in the car and
we go at the Four points Sheraton hotel. We took a shower
and we went to eat in the restaurant. After we were so
tired therefore we came back at the hotel to go to sleep.
We slept early.
Tuesday march 18th 2014
This day we woke up early because we wanted to go to do
some shopping. We didn’t have our breakfast because we
wanted to have enough time to do shopping. First of all we
went at Target store, after we went at two shop of shoes,
Pay less shoes and Foot locker. Then we went to eat, hot
dog and pizza with refill softs drinks. We went to costco to
buy clothes, some drinks and food. And we went at Ross to
buy some more clothes for everybody and their family.
After we went to Fry’s electronics to buy, Iphone, Ipad,
cellphone, adaptators and protections. We were rich that
day !! I feel so happy to be with them, our relationship
began to be stronger and stronger each day. When we
went to another Ross shop, in the car Mister said us, to tell
him what we think about our trip. Rowen began after
Mariihaunui, Ariipaea, Teirea, me and Nolan. We said to
him, thank for all, for the all moments that we had, for the
happiness, for the love, for all experiences.
This day has been the day more touching of my life. Thank
you so much Mister DEANE. Tears has been versed but it
was tears of love and of happiness. ☺ <3
