Casual tenant- spare room/ apt/ house sit
I need a bed for a few nights now and then while I am down in Wanaka
from Auckland overseeing the build of my new house. I am happy to
house sit and/or pet mind if that is useful....and pay for expenses......it
would be over a weekend from Thurs night to Sun morning. I have to be
back in Auckland as I work Tues, Wed and Thurs and run a mainly
music programme on Mon mornings. I can usually fit in times with owner.

In the clamour of modern lifestyles and politics, how can the Church
address the challenges of belief, ethics and justice?
Saturday, 11 June, 10.30 am – 2.00 pm (coffee/tea 10am)
St Andrew’s Church, Cromwell
Bishop Richard Randerson will introduce a discussion based on two
topics from his book, Slipping the Moorings:
10.30am: God in the 21st Century: the tides of secularism, driven
along by the crusading zeal of Richard Dawkins and others, are
undermining the foundations of Christian Faith. The Church needs to do
more than just simply reaffirm traditional images and doctrines. This
session explores the middle ground between traditional theism and
atheism, with contemporary images of God.
12 noon: BYO lunch, tea/coffee provided
12.30pm: Issues facing today’s Church: this session ranges over key
topics such as public and corporate ethics, new paradigms for the 21st
century Church, poverty, justice, neoliberalism and Christian values, and
same-sex relationships.
