Dear Parents/Carers
Meet the Teacher!
We are holding Parents Evening appointment this week. Letters were sent out recently, but if you
haven’t yet booked an appointment with your child’s class teacher, please contact the school office.
Netball
Our after school netball club starts again on Tuesday 28th February, 3.40-4.40 pm
(weather permitting), if you would like to attend, please collect a letter with full
details and permission slip from the office. Places will be allocated on a first come
first served basis.
Bake Sale
Thank you so much for supporting our Bake Sale last Friday. The Year 5 and
6 Gingerbread Men were a huge hit, thank you Tesco Community Champions!
Several of our Year 5 girls also donated some fabulous cakes and buns and
we raised well over £80 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
Valentine Disco – Thursday 9th February
The Friends of Hunloke Park are holding a Disco on Thursday evening.
FS and KS1 – 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm. KS2 – 6.45 pm to 8.00 pm.
Tickets are available on the door. Volunteers to help on the night are always
welcome!
End of Term
Just to remind you we break up for the end of term 3 on Friday. There is a staff training day
on Monday 20th February so the children return to school on Tuesday 21st February.
Please can you check over the holidays that your child has a full PE kit, including outdoor
wear and a pair of PE plimsolls, to start the new term. Also, if you have any school kit at
home, especially the blue ‘Sainsbury’s’ kit, please return this, thank you.
Holiday Club
Active8 holiday club is running again during the end of term holiday. The club based at
Tupton Hall School is open Monday to Thursday next week. For further details or to book a

Dinner Money – please can you ensure all outstanding dinner money is sent into school by
Wednesday! This will enable us to bank any cheques before the holidays, many thanks.
