state agencies, announced today the creation of its Behavioral Health Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is made up of
industry experts from all facets of the behavioral health industry including: Dr. Joe Parks, Dr. Carl Clark, Dr. Neal Adams and Dr.
David Wanser.
The Behavioral Health Advisory Board was established to serve as Core’s strategic advisory team for the continued
development of its clinical vision. It will provide influence into Core’s technology roadmap to improve upon Core’s integrated
Behavioral Health EHR solution – Core Cx360. Core Cx360 enables behavioral health providers to simplify the end-to-end
behavioral health experience, deliver integrated care coordination, improve consumer engagement and streamline accurate
provider reimbursement.
Core will utilize the knowledge from the advisory board to continue their vision for improving the provider and client
relationship. These industry experts bring a global view of understanding the needs and requirements of both government and
commercial providers of behavioral health services. The advisory members have vast behavioral health experience ranging from
specialties in Health Homes to information health technology. With diverse backgrounds and a combined 100 plus years of
experience in the healthcare industry each member brings a unique set of skills and experience that will tremendously benefit
Core’s Behavioral Health Advisory Board.
Dr. Joe Parks serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for the Missouri Department of Mental Health. He is recognized nationally as
the leading authority on the growing topic in behavioral healthcare, Healthcare Homes (HH).
Dr. Carl Clark currently serves as the CEO for the Mental Health Center of Denver and is nationally recognized as a mental
health leader.
Dr. Neal Adams is currently the Deputy Director for the California Institute of Mental Health and is involved with various
projects with a focus on quality improvement and systems transformation through technical assistance, consultation and
training.
Dr. David Wanser is currently a Senior Clinical Consultant for a major health information technology company with a public
sector focus and a consultant with a private practice focusing on behavioral healthcare and healthcare technology.
