"When asked to create a design of a radio that captures the New Zealand culture
what instantly sprung to mind was the outdoors. Us Kiwi's are very outdoor
orientated. I come from sunny Hawke's Bay and this is one of the most popular
of places to holiday over the summer. Everyone is familiar with the sight of a
trailer laden with camping equipment holding up traffic on the motorway.
Camping is the best way to experience this countries natural beauty up close
and personal. And the choices of sites around the country are huge. With that
being said I believe that camping captures New Zealand's culture beautifully.
My tent radio exemplifies this aspect, and 'sounds like us!'”
