Nothing entered except cataloged. No premiums allowed on articles purchased or borrowed. Exhibitors may mail their entries to Susan Pretz before entry day and pick up
their tags and pay the entry fee July 25 or July 26 in Floral Hall.
Exhibitors must have their entries tagged before presenting them for entry.
Items entered for premiums will be released 3:30-5:30 PM Sunday July 30 . Items released early forfeit premium. Items not picked up by 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 31st will
be disposed and premiums will go back to fair board.

Entries
Art. 1. An entrance fee of .50 cents will be charged on all entries.
Art. 2. Entries as indicated below can be made to Susan Pretz after July 15.
Art. 3. Articles to the Floral Hall by Noon July 26, except Baked Goods.
Baked Goods in place by 9:30 A.M. July 29, Flowers by 11:30, Wednesday July 26.
Art. 4. A “professional” is one who follows painting and drawing as a business or for
profit.
Art. 5. All articles must be entered in person.
Art. 6. Hereafter blue will indicate first premium: red, second . NO premiums will be
given for Best of Class.
Art. 7. The society agrees to pay in full all premiums awarded unless otherwise provided. If funds are not sufficient all awards will be prorated.
Art. 8. Competition is open to residents of Iowa and adjoining states only and all exhibits must be accompanied by their own owners or authorized representatives. All
animals or articles must be entered in owner’s name.
Art. 9. No premiums will be paid on exhibits that have won first place in the last
5 years. This applies to floral hall exhibits only. Premiums not called for within two
months will be considered as donated to the society.
Art. 10. There will be no refund on entry fees.
Art. 11. Premium money may be picked up in floral hall the time of release.
If articles are not picked up during release time you forfeit premium and the
item becomes property of Floral Hall.
Loss or Damage
The Board of Directors will use diligence to insure the safety of stock and articles
after arrival and arrangement, but will not be responsible for any loss or damage that
may occur. Exhibitors must give personal attention to their property and
immediately preceding the close of the fair take charge of the same.

The purpose of this flower show is for the
education and enjoyment of all who view
the show as well as the exhibitors.
This division is open to amateurs only. A
professional is defined as one who earns
their livelihood from their skills.
All entries accepted Wednesday, July
26th between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m..
People from surrounding communities
may send in entries early and pick up tag
on entry day.
Flowers must be in on time. No late entries will be accepted.
Only one entry per person in each category. All entries are eligible in only one
class.
