Yes – one of earths hardest and most resistant minerals, Eurostone™ is made in Germany using 94%
crushed quartz and has a flexural strength more than 3 times harder than Granite.
Yes hygiene does matter. Due to the compact and non-porous structure (0.015%) Eurostone™ never
requires sealing or re-polishing as it has no pores in which dirt and bacteria can hide.
Unfortunately the same cannot be said of other surfaces which have countless pores that become a
hiding place for fungi and bacteria.
With the rigorous testing and German quality control systems in place, Eurostone™ gives you
guaranteed gloss consistency and premium gloss levels per colour. Be wary of low gloss levels as these
indicate low quality material, poor polishing procedures, and a porous structure resulting in a unhygienic
and nondurable surface. Ask about our gloss meter testing results.
Eurostone™ is very durable and scratch resistant due to the natural hardness of quartz with a
measurement of 7.0 on the MOH scale (Measurement of hardness).
This rates alongside the hardest of minerals like Topaz (8), sapphire (9) and diamond (10)
