Description
In this activity, students round numbers to their greatest place value to estimate
their product. This activity is non adaptive.
Teaching Hints
Use the visualization to help students revise the process of rounding. Encourage
them to use a calculator to compare their estimations with the actual product. Discuss when it would be appropriate in real life to round large numbers.
