Whatare“Flex”dollars?
FlexdollarsaregivenwithamealplantobeusedinSodexoretailstores(e.g.CommonGrounds,
CasaDelTigre,Jazzmans).Allofourplansnowprovide“flex”dollarswhichcanbeusedinanyof
theSodexolocationsandisaniceoptionfor“alacarte”mealsorsnacksforthestudent.Theyare
separatefromTigerDollarsandcannotbeusedinanyotherlocationsotherthanthoseoperatedby
SodexoCampusDining.
TIGERDOLLARS
"TigerDollars"maybepurchasedinincrementsof$100,$150,$200duringhousingplansign‐ups.
ThisamountwillbebilledtoyourstudentaccountintheFallANDSpringsemester.TigerDollars
areacceptedbothonandoffcampus.OncampusthecardisacceptedatsomeSodexofoodservice
locations,atvendingmachines,atthecampusbookstoreandpostoffice,forcampusprintingand
forticketsforcampusevents.Off‐campusitisacceptedatfifteenlocalvendorsincludingtwelve
foodplaces,onelaundrycenter,andonebowlingalley.TigerDollarswillrollovereachsemester
untilyouleaveOlivet,atthatpointyouraccountwillbeclosedandyouwillbechargeduptoa
$5.00servicefee.Anymoneyremainingafterthisfeewillbeappliedtoyourschoolbill.Ifyoudo
nothaveabalanceonyourstudentaccount,themoneywillberefundedtoyou.
DISCOUNTCARD
SelecttheDiscountCardwhensigningupforhousingplanstopurchasethe2016‐17discountcard
for$42.00whichisthenbilledtoyourstudentaccountinthefall.Thereare25areabusinessesand
restaurantsofferingdiscounts.Mostpopularisthe50%offselectedOlivetstudentevents.Thisis
amusthaveforanyundergrad.CardspurchasedduringOrientationwillbemailedtocampus
mailboxesduringfallmove‐indays.
