Major Customer engagements
2015-present
As a senior Project Manager and Enterprise Architect, Luc is in charge of the IT
Conversion Roadmap at an Investment Funds Management Company in
Luxembourg. In the context of the sale of the entity to a new owner, Luc conducted
the entire IT conversion project including selection of an IT Service Provider through
an RFP (Request for Proposal) process, design of the target operating model, design
of the migration scenario and execution of the project as a project manager. Luc is
managing the day-to-day work of the conversion team and interfaces with the key
project stakeholders.
2012-2014
Luc led the Security Roadmap project at a life insurance company in Luxembourg. As
a project Manager and Enterprise Architect, Luc was in charge of the analysis, the
infrastructure architecture design and managed the conversion towards the new
target model. The project includes several streams such as development (Java and
Cobol), infrastructure design (AS400 and WINTEL) and IT Security Design.
2012-2013
Luc conducted the system selection project of a Media and Communications
Company in Luxembourg with the objective to replace their current editorial system.
Luc lead the project and was in charge of the Infrastructure Architecture design.
2012
Luc accompanied a German bank in the selection of an IT Outsourcing provider
including the definition of the strategy, gathering of business and functional
requirements, definition of the RFP and evaluation of the responses.
2007-2012
Luc has been involved in multiple sales related engagements in the EMEA Region,
Benelux and Luxembourg. He was in charge of the architecture design of SOA
(Service Oriented Architecture) solutions in the financial and telecommunication
sectors.
2006-2007
For a major Belgian Public administration Luc acted as a key technical consultant in
the design and setup of an SOA (Service Oriented Architecture). Luc was involved in the
design and implementation of the solution.
2001-2005
Luc has worked within a large (more than 400 persons) project spread over 7 IBM
locations with the objective to develop the product “WebSphere Process Server”. Luc
has been involved in this project as a quality manager and performance engineer.
Luc also was deployed onsite at customer sites to address specific configuration
issues and to solve performance issues.
