Make sure that you are reading! Math, Science, and Social Studies Science/Social Studies This week Mrs. Polk’s HR will learn to use models to multiply fractions and divide fractions. A test over multiplyin and dividing fractions is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, January 27th. Mrs. Schimmel’s HR will continue to add and subtract mixed numbers. They will take a test on adding and subtracting fractions on Friday, January 22. We will continue to discuss the events of World War I and review key places around the United States that the students must be able to identify. We will have a map test on Friday, January 22nd. Our test on WWI will be Wednesday, January 27th. Daily Geography is due on Friday, January 22nd. GSE skills Add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions with unlike denominators using concrete models, pictures, and the standard algorithm. Our first division math challenge will be January 27th. Their goal is to answer at least 81 out of 90 facts correctly. Please make sure they are practicing their facts.
