MOSTLIKELY
The Viennese Agency MOSTLIKELY is known for their cross-disciplinary philosophy. In
search of new sectors they approached the traditional Vienna Porcelain Manufactory Augarten.
The foundation for their drafts are the penguin and owl from the DIY lamp shade series by
MOSTLIKELY, founded by Maik Perfahl and Wolfgang List in 2012. The figures are
developed on the computer, the original forms printed in 3D and finally handcrafted and
painted by the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory Augarten.
The resulting figures, OWL and PENGUIN, uniquely capture the design vocabulary of the
PRIX DÉCOUVERTES MAISON&OBJET 2012 awarded 3D paper models. The typically edgy
compositions can either be acquired with black contours or painted in a style defying design.

Xaver and Isidor: This custom paint job was done in-house by our own porcelain painters.
Xaver, the penguin, received his colors from Franz XAVER Pleininger and Isidor, the owl, was
transformed by ISIDOR Stern.

ANGELA named after her pattern designer Angela Busch; also in the typical edgy design,
making believe that it’s being made of paper.
