LASEA OEM LS-SCAN LS-Scan, the LASEA machining head The fruit of research by our engineers, this machining head is placed above the part to be machined and directs the beam in three dimensions at high speed and with unequalled accuracy using two motorized mirrors for the X and Y direc ons and a motorized lens for the Z direc on. With very low power consump on, heat genera on and weight, its motors reduce thermal dri s and offer accelera on ramps about 20% greater than the best tradi onal moving magnet motors. Because of these performances, all of the laser power can be used without degrading the machining accuracy and hence the cycle me can be reduced. This system is controlled by our so ware KYLA™ (p. 26-27) or LS-HMI (p.28-29) LASEA OEM LS-SCAN Specifications Models LS-SCAN XY 10 LS-SCAN XY 15 LS-SCAN XY 20 Scanner aperture 10 mm 15 mm 20 mm Minimum scanning tracking error 80 µs 110 µs 160 µs Wavelengths available 343/355 nm • 515/532 nm + 1030/1064 nm • 10600 nm Angular excursion 640 mrad Maximum scanning speed 50 rad/s * Static positioning resolution 10 µrad * Static positioning accuracy Automatic calibration at +/- 50 µm ▪ Down to +/- 5 µm calibration with microscope measurements Thermal drift (on 8 hours) +/- 20 µrad * Frequency of positioning setpoints and gates 400 kHz Connection from Interface card to scanner Detachable electrical cable (5m) Connection from PC/PLC to scanner Ethernet cable Input signals (on interface card) Start job ▪ Stop Job ▪ Encoder Output signals (on interface card) Laser Gate ▪ Job in progress Power supply 12 VDC - 1A Lenses ** Focal length Spot size (in µm) Scanning Field Working distance 60 mm 100 mm 160 mm 250 mm 330 mm 420 mm 42 x beam quality (M²) x wavelength (in nm) x focal length (in mm) / beam diameter before focusing (in mm) 20 x 20 mm 40 x 40 mm 70 x 70 mm 100 x 100 mm 150 x 150 mm 210 x 210 mm 70 mm 120 mm 180 mm 270 mm 360 mm 460 mm LS-Scan Z *** LS-Scan Z aperture 20 mm Beam diameter modification x 0,75 x 1,33 Spot size modification x 1,33 x 0,75 Tracking error Z Scanning field (in mm) 4 ms 600 x focal length x focal length (in mm) 300 x focal length x focal length (in mm) Dimensions (H x L x D) LS-Scan 200 x 150 x 200 mm External interface card 100 x 100 x 50 mm Options On-Axis Vision system Beam splitter transparent at laser wavelength and reflective from 650 to 900 nm, adjustable objective and iris SiC XY mirrors Improved scanner dynamic (tracking error reduced of 20%) Cutting nozzle Cutting nozzle to be able to easily switch from a scanning process to a cutting process * Value on target is obtained by multiplying this angle by the focus length (in meter) of the objective lens ** Supplied with their appropriate objective mounts preventing from laser ghosts *** The output of LS-Scan Z is the input of LS-Scan XY
