How Do I Get My Card?
METRO discount fare cards give young people
from kindergarten to 12th grade, as well as
college and university students, the ability to
ride any METRO service for 50 percent off the
regular fare. Travel where you want, when you
want, and pay just 60 cents a ride on all METRO
local bus and light-rail service.

How Do I Pay?
METRO currently offers three ways to
pay your fare:

Have a parent or guardian sign the
attached form and mail it to the address
on the form.
Apply in person at the METRO RideStore
located at 1900 Main Street (weekdays
8 a.m. – 5 p.m.), and provide one of the
following:
• Current School ID
• Class Schedule
• Enrollment Form
• Report Card (on school letterhead)
METRO Day Pass
Cash
While cash will always be accepted on our
buses and METRORail, the student discount
and other benefits are only available to
qualified METRO Q® Fare Card and METRO
Day Pass cardholders.
