Policy:
There are two types of Faculty Convocations: University-wide and College-wide. A University-wide convocation
is held each semester shortly before classes begin. This is an opportunity for the President to address the faculty
on new initiatives, successes and challenges facing our University community. A college-wide convocation is
held each academic year or semester, at which the Dean addresses his/her faculty on matters of interest to the
faculty of that College. This is also an opportunity for faculty members who have just completed sabbaticals to
report to their colleagues on the work they completed during their sabbatical leave.
