Sally moved to Colorado after high school to attend Colorado Mountain College, Steamboat Springs, Colorado. After college, Sally became a licensed cosmetologist and later received her Bachelor’s in Finance Degree from Colorado University, Denver, Colorado. Sally and Braden live in the Wash Park neighborhood. Sally recently opened a dress boutique, Marie James Dress Boutique, in the Bonnie Brae neighborhood. The boutique specializes in dresses for bridesmaids and mothers for weddings. Braden Grieser grew up in Ft. Collin, Colorado. He attended a preparatory high school in Chicago, Illinois, where he played hockey. He returned to Colorado and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Colorado State University. His degree brought him to Denver with a job at Fox Sports where he has been an Associate Producer on the Emmy Award winning show, Rockies All Access. Sally and Braden were introduced by a mutual friend, who eventually performed their wedding ceremony. They met at a local Denver “watering hole”, Charlie Browns, and quickly spent a lot of time together. After dating for some time, Braden proposed at home. He sprinkled rose petals from the back door to their bedroom. He got down on one knee and Sally was already saying yes through tears. The wedding took place on August 21, 2010. The bridal party consisted of four groomsmen and four bridesmaids. Braden’s sister was a bridesmaid and Sally’s brother was a groomsmen. The rest of the wedding party was comprised of close friends of the bride and groom. The ring bearer was the son of one of the groomsmen and the flower girl was a relative of the bride. For the wedding, the entire property at the Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, Colorado, was rented. It was a great way to have all of Sally and Braden’s most important guests close. The Della Terra Mountain Chateau incorporates hotel rooms in their main chateau and nine cabins of varying sizes. Both the rehearsal dinner and reception took place at Della Terra Mountain Chateau, but each night was kept unique as the rehearsal dinner was outside with action stations and the wedding reception utilized the indoor reception space. The Della Terra Mountain Chateau had completed a newly renovated and amazing outside deck, prior to the summer, 2010 wedding season. It became a great outdoor area for guests to relax and mingle. Live music was incorporated at the rehearsal and reception and a lot of dancing took place. Braden and Sally also took dance lessons and did a choreographed waltz to Van Morrison’s, Into the Mystic, for their first dance. Sally and Braden chose Maui, Hawaii for their honeymoon destination. They made that choice because Hawaii is gorgeous, warm, great golf, with spas and a passport wasn’t needed!
