1 Searching for serial number
Once you have logged in to your Autodesk Account, you can search in the list of software (under ‘All
Products & Services’) for the software whose serial number you want to find. An arrow is shown in front
of the name of the software. The arrow is pointing to the right.
When you click on the arrow, the details of the software are shown. The serial number and the product
key are easy to find.
Note:

If you have a maintenance contract, you will also be able to search for previous versions of the
software, as well as the serial numbers and product keys.

If you have got a subscription, the serial number remains the same, irrespective of which version
of the software you want to use. Only the product key changes with the version. The next
section describes how to find the product key.

2 Searching for product key
The product key is easy to find by following the instructions in section 1 above. But, remember that the
product key for a single product is different from the product key for the same product if it is part of a
suite or collection.
E.g.: the product key for an AutoCAD 2016 licence is 001H1, while the product key for the AutoCAD
2016 licence as part of Product Design Suite Ultimate 2016 is 781H1.
You will always see the product key for the most recent version of your software.
If you want to search for the product key for an earlier version (2017, 2016 or 2015), you can look it
up in the lists in the sections below or use the link to the Autodesk website.
Note:
For the collections, you will have received a product key from Autodesk for the entire
collection. However, you should download/install the software for each product from
the collection individually. So, you need the product key for each product.
