MOTHER EARTH
Earth is the spherical planet we live on.It is the
third planet from the sun.It is the only planet
known to have life on it.Lots of scientists think the
earth formed around 4.5 billion years ago.
Earth is the only planet in our solar system that
has a large amount of liquid water.Anout 71% of
the surface of Earth is covered by oceans.Because
of this ,people some times call it “blue Planet”.
Because of its water,Earth is home to millions of
species of plants and animals.So we should do all
efforts to protect and save our MOTHER EARTH.
ENGLISH
1. Make a scrap book On Mother Earth containing
news,articles,stories etc.Decorate the scrap book and
give it a suitable name.

2. Put your creativity on paper.Draw and write a poem on
how you can save the Mother Earth (Do it on A4 size
sheet).

3. Make a poster on Mother Earth (the aling planet ).Also
prepare few lines for presentation.

4.Learn 10 new words and make a “VOCAB HANGING”.

5.The easiest and most enjoyable way to be good at English
is to read as many books as you can. The more books you
read, the easier it becomes to understand and enjoy them.

Write mathematical facts about Earth.Also make any one
game using maths concept and Earth.You can take help
from google.
Search -1 Maths board games for Earth.
2.Maths facts about Earth.
 Paste the picture of Earth and write the –
 Percentage of water on Earth.
 Percentage of land on Earth.
 Write the total number of population and species
found on Earth in words and figures.
 Write the minimum and maximum temperature of
Earth in words and figures.
 Write the minimum and maximum temperature of
Earth’s surface in Celsius and Fahrenheit.
SCIENCE
(Roll no. 17 to 24)
 Make a poster on renewable and non renewable
resources of energy using cardboard of A3 size.
 Write a slogan on “climate change” or “water
conservation”or role of citizen to conserve energy
and to promote renewable energy resources.
NOTE – Do it on A-3 size sheet in a vertical manner.
SOCIAL STUDIES

1. Make a working model of alternative source of energy
like solar energy, Tidal energy etc.
2. Make a brochure on the topic “How to save fossil fuel.”
3. Make a poster on Mother Earth on A4 size sheet.
