Travel to Nanuku’s Private Island with us via Nanuku 1. Nanuku 1 is a 30 footer Well Craft hull, powered by twin 250 HP
Yamaha with a fully air-conditioned cabin with head accessories. This tour will take you through the fringing reefs of Beqa
Lagoon where you will also get to drop a line for a catch. Nanuku Island will welcome you with white sandy beach, swaying
coconut palms and clear blue water. You will be guided along the protected reef of Nanuku Island for a short snorkeling
tour followed by a gourmet picnic lunch, soft drinks and champagne. Activities offered on the island are snorkeling, fishing,
or just lying back in the hammock and enjoy island life.

FOOD SAFARI
Your guide will take you to the local markets, where you will taste and learn about some of the freshest fruits and vegetables
in the world, grown in local gardens. Then visit a local crab farm where you will choose your own crabs for your very own
feast back at the resort. Hunt for your crabs in the local mangroves (or watch your guide do it for you ) and learn about this
amazing web of life. Visit a nearby village and watch the women “call” the prawns from their hiding places and catch your
own for lunch. The food safari includes a guided tour, sourcing fresh Fijian produce, Crabs, Prawns, Fruits and vegetables
to bring back to the kitchen where the chef will cook them up for a tasty dinner.

TRADITIONAL PRAWN COOKOUT
This experience can be done alone or in conjunction with the food safari. Start with the building of the fire, then hollow
out a freshly-cut bamboo piece and learn about this ancient cooking method. Collect coconuts and learn about all of the
uses of coconut in Fijian culture. Finish off by tasting the combination of these traditional Fijian flavors.

IN-VILLA KOKODA (Fijian ceviche cooking class)
Kokoda is fresh local fish marinated in bush lemon juice, then combined with coconut cream, coriander and spices with
a hint of chilli. This is an immersive private lesson on how to cook one of Fiji’s signature dishes, starting with grating and
pressing the coconuts for cream, picking coriander from our kitchen’s garden, and filleting the fresh fish caught in
the lagoon.
