One reason I hate mosquitoes is because they
are so annoying while I am outside. For
example, whenever we have BBQ’s, they want
to swarm all around the food. Also, when I go
fishing with my dad, we always have to wear
bug spray. The bug spray always stinks! If you
do not wear bug spray, you have to wear a
long sleeve shirt. Who wants to wear long
sleeves when it is hot outside? Nothing ruins
your day like bloodsucking mosquitos.
1st sentence: State your subject.
2nd-3rd sentences: Tell how you feel about
the subject.
4th-5th sentences: State your 3 reasons.

The one job around the house that I
hate to do more than anything else is
taking the garbage out. Taking the
garbage out is the worst chore there is!
Sometimes, I wish that the garbage would
learn to take itself out. I would rather do
ten chores instead of taking the garbage
out. Taking the garbage out is such a
horrible task because it stinks, it is sticky,
and the dogs always carry it away.
1st sentence: Restate your subject.
2nd sentence: Restate your reasons.
3rd-5th sentences: State about the future
of the subject.

Taking out the garbage is the worst
household job in the world. No one should
have to suffer through the smell, stickiness,
and aggravation of the dogs. One day, I
hope to be able to have a machine to
carry it away for me. I can see a bright
future free from taking out the disgusting
garbage. I cannot wait for the day when
the chore of taking out the garbage is
passed down to someone else!
