Civil Service Library
The Civil Service Library is a specialized library with a significant collection of
titles on topics relating to management.
We encourage all Public Officers to visit our library and make use of the services
which are provided free of charge.
Opening days and hours:
Monday to Friday
From 08 45 to 16 00 hrs non-stop(including lunch time)

Objectives
We are committed to provide you with:
§
a pleasant environment and quality library services;
§
a wide range of easily accessible and retrievable reading materials;
§
a list of new acquisitions on the Ministry’s website; and
§
helpful and courteous staff to serve you.

Our Services

(including lunch time)
§
we lend books for a period of three weeks and periodicals for one week
§
we provide:
audiovisual and reading materials, namely books, reports, journals, periodicals
and newspapers
-
e-browsing facilities for search/retrieval of books
photocopying services (up to 5 pages free of charge) for library
materials/documents.

Registration of membership
We invite you to register yourself as a member and ensure you of an efficient and
excellent service. In this respect, the following documents are needed:
(1)
National Identity Card (Original and Photocopy)
(2)
Recent Pay slip (original and photocopy)
(3)
Two recent passport-sized photographs
The application for membership will be processed and the Membership Card will be
issued within 5 working days as from the date of receipt of application.

Civil Service Library Agreement Form
You can download the Civil Service Agreement form. After having filled in the
form, you may bring it along together with the above mentioned documents for
registration purposes at our counter.

Member’s Responsibility
We request you to:
§
return borrowed materials in good condition by the due date
§ submit your views in the Library Suggestion Register to help us improve our
services
§
make your suggestions for new titles you would like to see in your library. An
Acquisition of Books Register is there for that purpose.
