The Body Aligns To Sound!
BioSonic Repatterning™ , developed by Dr. John
Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D., is a natural method of sound healing
using tuning forks based on the sonic ratios inherent in nature. When the tuning forks are tapped, pure musical intervals based on precise mathematical proportions known as the
Pythagorean tunings are produced. By listening to these intervals, an archetypal resonance resulting in a physical and
psychic repatterning of our mind, body, and spirit is created.
This takes place on a physical level within the inner ear by
stimulation of the cochlea and semicircular canals. The nervous system attunes to the pitch in much the same way as
when we find a pitch for a choir, or tune a piano. During the
listening process our physical body will actually reposture itself to hold the proportion and sound correctly.

Founder, Dr. John Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D
John Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D., is a composer, music therapist and Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor. He is the
creator of BioSonic Repatterning™, an energy medicine approach to music and sound healing, and is internationally
recognized as a pioneer in the sound healing field. He is currently involved with research on sound healing and

Dr. Beaulieu discovered the healing effect of tuning fork intervals by spending more than 500 hours in an “anechoic
chamber” ( a completely soundproof room) listening to the subtle sounds of his own body including his nervous
system, heart and circulatory system. As a trained musician, his ear was able to make fine distinctions and detect
even very small changes.
Dr. Beaulieu, currently serving as President of the American Polarity Therapists Association (APTA), is also a Registered Polarity Practitioner (R.P.P.) who has been practicing and teaching Polarity for twenty-five years. He is the
founding director of the Polarity Wellness Network, which supports students, practitioners, and instructors of Polarity
to reach the highest standards of Polarity excellence. He served as co-chair of the APTA Standards Committee by
whom he was honored for his outstanding contributions in the establishment of educational standards for Polarity
Therapy.
John is also the author of “Music and Sound in the Healing Arts: An Energy Approach” which is used as the text for the
BioSonic Repatterning Home Study Course. He also authored “The Polarity Therapy Workbook“ and “Polarity Therapy
Associates Manual”, both used in the A.P.P. and R.P.P trainings.
