Ask your children, when they are having a snack, to tell you when they have eaten a even a 1 3 1 4 or 1 2 or ! It’s a fun easy way to include some maths into every day. Using pizza is a popular food choice to use when mastering fractions. Ask the children to tell you how much pizza they would like, telling you the amount in fractions…they might say one whole!
