PowerSchool: How to change teacher passwords
in mass
___________________________________________________________________________________________
As a result of the v9 upgrade in PowerSchool, Teacher Access cannot be disabled for the summer. As a
work around, districts have the option to change their teacher passwords in mass. Teachers will need to
be notified when the district is ready for teachers to be able to access their information for the
upcoming school year and provide them with the generic password that was set, and they should update
their password at that time.
If a district uses one login and password for all of their applications (LDAP), this will not be an option.
This is only for districts who have a separate login and password for their PowerSchool application.
1. On the Start Page, select “Staff”
2. Select “Teachers” from the drop down and click the search icon
