Meets:

October 3 @ Spearfish, October 17 @ Newell,
Regionals November 7 @ Central High School, Rapid City-if we qualify
Students must have passing grades the Monday before a meet.
If ineligible, students must practice with team but cannot go the meet.
Students must be in school the Friday before a meet, if there is school.
All members must ride the bus to the location of the meets.
Meet the bus at the front of the high school at the west parking lot.
Hopefully, we will be able to take Junior Varsity teams as well. That way
everyone can play but it depends on the host school.
Parents, grandparents, neighbors are welcomed to come watch and be amazed
by what our fantastic BFMS students know!
A meet consists of one written round and four oral rounds. 300 questions!!
1st, 2nd, or 3rd place wins earn points toward regional qualification.
Students MUST ride the bus back to Belle Fourche High School unless a
PARENT signs their child out on the coach’s bus list.
Students can bring snacks and/or a sack lunch to eat after the meet is over. We’ll
stop at a fast food place after every meet except September 17.
Costs to parents:
We will order team tshirts but they are optional. We use the same shirt
design every year so if students order a larger size, no need to reorder.
Approx. $13-15.
Buy own lunch if we stop.
