Dear Parents/Carers and Children.
As I’m sure you’re aware, Osprey class have been busy thinking of ways in which
they can be 'superheroes' and have decided they would like to try and raise
money for charity. After lots of discussion and a vote, the charity 'Project Peru'
was chosen, and they have been busy planning ways they can raise money. The
children have written this newsletter and they hope you will be able to support
them in making a difference! They have already been
selling friendship bracelets and finger puppets
(made by people in the refuge) after school and
have already made an incredible £384! We have a
final batch in and will be selling them this week.
Mr Powell-Thomas - February 2017.
Project Peru is a refuge and orphanage for around 50 children aged 0-18 in
Zapallel (which is near the Capital city of Peru). The children living in the refuge
are provided with shelter, food and education.
By Ishka and Mia.
