NEWS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 26, 2015 Day 4 at Agribition: All-day, cowboy-inspired entertainment in the Brandt Centre REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN – Day four of Canadian Western Agribition (CWA) is a chance to enjoy entertainment in the Brandt Centre. The International Stock Dog Championship Trials take place this morning and the finals begin at 1:30 p.m. The champion will be the stock dog that maneuvers a flock of sheep through a pattern and into a pen the quickest following its handler’s commands. Horse trainers Amos Abrahamson and Taylor Douglas take horses who have never seen a saddle before from wild bronc to domestic companion at 12 p.m. during the Trainer’s Challenge. New this year is the Barrel Horse Prospect Demo at 4 p.m. in conjunction with Canada’s Premier Select Ranch Horse Competition. Some of the top ranch and barrel racing horses will be judged and timed, determining their rank for the sale tomorrow. Other Thursday show highlights include: Bison stroganoff cooking demo with The Sioux Chef – 12 p.m. on the Food Pavilion stage Knife skills demo with Chef Aimee of Schoolhaus Culinary Arts – 2 p.m. on the Food Pavilion stage The Dead South performs – 9:45 on the Pump Roadhouse Stage after the rodeo Sask.
