Friday Night Rec.
A Social program for individuals aged 16 years and older with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities.
Summer Session begins Friday, June 2nd, 2017 (see times below)
Registration Fee: $30.00 (some events may require additional fees)

Please Note: Caregivers/Aides must pay to participate in activities that require an entry fee.
June 2nd
ZUMBA DANCING at Tuscar or a Recr eation Center fr om 7:00-9:00 pm. Healthy snacks
will be provided. Registration will be held. Bring a friend for FREE this night only!
June 9th
MOVIE AT HOLIDAY CINEMAS $4.50 to see a movie! Fr ee bag of popcor n
included, but you will need to buy your own drink. Meet at 6:30 pm
June 16th
ICE CREAM SOCIAL at Ballenger Cr eek Par k fr om 6:30-8:30 pm. Meet at shelter #2 by
the dog park.
June 21st
Wednesday
MINI GOLF @ ADVENTURE PARK USA fr om 6:30-8:30 pm. Dress in crazy golf clothing
as we play putt -putt this Wednesday night. Bring extra money for a snack or drink.

July 7th
FREDERICK KEYS GAME/FIREWORKS at NYMEO Stadium. Bring money for snacks
or souvenirs. Meet at the front gate of the stadium at 6:30 pm. Fireworks will end by 10:00 pm.
Sheryl will have the tickets (Tickets are only for registered participants).
July 12th
Wednesday
WEDNESDAY-SWIM DAY fr om 6:30-8:30 pm at the Baker Park swimming pool.
Please remember a swimsuit and towel.
July 21st
GAME NIGHT & CRAFT at Pinecliff Par k in the Br owning Building fr om 7:00-9:00 pm.

August 4th
FAMILY PICNIC at Fountain Rock Par k fr om 5:30 pm till dusk. A sign-up sheet will be
available for side dishes. S'mores, drinks and paper goods will be provided.

Participant Code of Conduct
It is the goal of the Friday Night Rec program for all participants to have an opportunity for a safe and
enjoyable experience while taking part in our programs. In order to assure all participants understanding
the behavior expected the following code of conduct has been developed. Failure to follow the code of
conduct may result in verbal and/or written warning, removal from activities and/or suspension from future activities after repetitive violations. If you observe behaviors that could be considered inappropriate, please report it to the program director.

Be respectful to peers, staff, volunteers and public.
Listen and follow all direction from staff and volunteers
Stay with your assigned group and leader.
Keep your hands to yourself.
Use friendly language and refrain from using inappropriate language or tones of voice.
6. Use equipment and supplies appropriately.
5. Failure to comply with these rules may result in suspension from the program.
In the event of inclement weather please call the PROGRAM CANELATION LINE: 301-6006291 to check if the scheduled FNR activity is still running. If we do decide to cancel, every effort will be made to make-up the missed activity. Refunds will be granted for activities that can
not be reschedule or due to conflicts with personal schedules.
