Image Theatre visited the school on Friday and all of the children
were able to enjoy and participate in “The Secret Garden”. As
always it was a wonderful performance with high energy, singing
and acting.
Friday night was our school Disco night, the children thoroughly
enjoyed themselves, the music, sweets and hot dogs all created the
perfect evening.
We recently held our Science Day here at school, the children were
very excited to invite their families into their classrooms to show
them what amazing science facts they were learning. We hope you
all enjoyed the experiments they showed you, and were puzzled by
some of the interesting questions they were asking.
We have received many entries for the Science competition of
varying concepts. The winners will be announced next week once
the judges have made their decision. We would like to thank
National Grid for sponsoring the prizes, this is a very generous gift
which helps encourage our children to participate.
Nursery are forward planning for the summer
term and they would like to request the following
for their Sports and Fun Day, any unwanted soft
toys for the Teddy Tombola, small party bag gifts
for the Lucky Dip and any small items that are in
good condition and you feel would make
appropriate prizes.
Please can we remind you to send your children
to school with a coat. We are all looking forward
to warmer days but at the moment the weather is
very inclement and it can be quite cold out on the
playground.
The last day of spring Term is Thursday 30
March and school closes at 1.30pm.
