The Afterschool Art Club for St. Dominic School
Kindergarten through 8th grade students are invited to Explore, Travel
(in our imaginations!) and Create ART from around the world and throughout time!
Session Two: From Sketch to Sculpture! Three Dimensional Art!
Mondays (11/15-12/13) 2:45-4:15pm
OR Wednesdays (11/10-12/15, no class 11/24) 3:15-4:45pm
In this session, we will make 6 sculptures in 5 weeks inspired by artists around the world
using wood, foam, paper, wire, sand, and clay… one material for each creation!
Session Three: Make Art Like the Masters! Painting and More!
Mondays (1/24-2/28) 2:45-4:15pm
OR Wednesdays (1/19-2/23) 3:15-4:45pm (right after the Youth Choir!)
We will travel in our imaginations to Europe to study artists throughout time to learn
what the Masters did that made their artwork – and now OUR artwork – special!
Session Four: An Art Journey Around the World, part 2! (4/11-5/18)
ARTifact meets in the Art/Music room
Cost: $55/student/session
What to Bring: A water bottle (no soda, please).
A snack will be provided.
