Project Schedule:
Prior to:
Site to be cleared and prepared by the City of Frankfort
June 5:
The playground equipment will be delivered and need to be unloaded by
the City of Frankfort. You will need a fork lift or skytrack to unload all
the equipment that will be arriving. I suggest delivering the equipment
right to the playground site.
June 6:
10:00 am: Rich and Diane Sinclair arrive on site and start the drilling of
the holes.
Engineered Wood Fiber to be delivered this day and staged on site.
Volunteers needed: 20 – please arrive on site at 10:00 am
Jobs to do:
1. Unwrapping all the playground equipment and disposing of the
packing materials (we will need the dumpster for this).
2. Assisting with drilling of the holes – 4 volunteers for this.
3. Pre-assembly of equipment – 14 volunteers
4. Setting of equipment into holes
5. Organizing hardware – 2 volunteers
7:00 pm – volunteers are done
The site will need to be secured during the night to make sure no one is on
the equipment or falls in the holes. Snow fence should be put up around
the entire perimeter of the play area. Kids are not allowed to play yet!
June 7:
FULL INSTALLATION DAY
Volunteers needed: 35 – please arrive on site at 7:30 am
7:00 am – start on site
Jobs to do:
1. Assemble and install the playground equipment
2. Install of the playcurb border around the outside of the equipment.
2:00 pm – concrete to arrive
3. Pouring concrete into the footings
4. Continued assembly
5. Spreading of the felt and EWF
7:00 pm – volunteers are done

June 8:
DEDICATION DAY
Volunteers needed: 35 – please arrive on site at 7:30 am

Spreading of the engineered wood fiber surfacing
Items needed:
Loader (from the City of Frankfort)
Wheelbarrows
Rakes (we will bring at least 10)
Tarps ( we will bring at least 5)
