A talk focused on Intervertebral Disc
organized by Physical Recreation Section
Panel was successfully held on 14th
November 2014, Friday at The Hong Kong
Girl Guides Association. It was a great
pleasure to have Mr. Quentin Yau,
Registered Physiotherapist and Assistant
Lecturer from the Department of
Orthopaedics & Traumatology, The Chinese
University of Hong Kong to be our guest
speaker. The talk attracted more than 80
Instructors and Assessors from different
Operating Authorities.
More than 80 Instructors and Assessors
from different Operating Authorities
joined in the seminar.
Mr. Yau shared his knowledge in spinal
health and explained ways to prevent Spinal
Disc Herniation to participants. He also
showed proper walking and standing
posturesduring the workshop.
Participants were demonstrating
stretching exercise。
Participants showed high interest in Q&A
session and enjoyed a fruitful evening
