Job description for Waiter / Waitress
We are looking for two people to share 42 hours per week. Shifts will
be on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each applicant
would work one weekend day.
Hours can be increased during the busier summer months.
Rate of pay per hour: £7.50 (if 24yrs or older).
Position involves: Taking orders from customers, making drinks,
serving food, clearing tables, working on the dishwasher, serving ice
cream, working on the till and handling money.
Possible additional responsibilities: retail/gift co-ordinator. To be
involved in ordering new products, stock taking, pricing and displaying
items in our retail section.
In house training provided.
Own transport essential.
During the school holidays and busier times - extra weekday shifts will
be available. Flexibility at these busy times is very helpful.
Preferable to take your holiday allowance during term time.
Restricted to a maximum of 2 weeks holiday during school holidays
and July & August.
Two references necessary if offered the position.
