LEARNING AND OUTCOMES
Learning aims show precisely what expertise, understanding,
skill or technique your CPD material is intended to deliver.
Learning outcomes are the starting point for evaluating the
impact of your CPD. Both learning aims and outcomes should
be clear and concisely defined.
Clearly state the learning aims of your CPD.
Clearly state the learning outcomes of your CPD.
HANDOUTS/SUPPORT MATERIAL
Providing some form of supporting material is also strongly
recommended; either physical handouts, emailed documents
post-CPD or some other content that perhaps only those
engaging with your CPD can receive.
Please supply details of any handout/support material
available with your CPD.
PROOF OF ATTENDANCE
Some members may require proof of attendance and we
strongly recommend you set up a simple certification process,
either using a printed certificate or an email. Each BIFM
Registered CPD Provider will be given a unique Event ID where
applicable.
Please supply details of any proof of CPD attendance
certification.

your CPD?
SUMMARY OF YOUR CPD MATERIAL
Please use this space to write a 50 to 100 word summary of
your CPD material.
HOW AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION WILL BE ENCOURAGED?
If you are planning to host live, face-to-face CPD seminars we
strongly recommend you include a mechanism for audience
participation, for example you could encourage the audience
to work in small groups (assuming numbers allow) or you could
simply ask them questions or to think about certain issues
during your seminar, A Q&A is also a useful way of encouraging
participation.
Please supply details of how BIFM members will be encouraged
to participate during your CPD.
