The GML/CML B-Triple map layer on the Intelligent Access Program (IAP) B-Triple and AB-Triple
Networks map shows all roads approved as of 12 September 2012 for the B-Triple vehicle combination
operating up to 36.5m in length at GML/CML.
The B-Triple and AB-Triple Networks map is available on Roads and Maritime Services website at
www.rms.nsw.gov.au/rav-gml-networks.
The list below contains details of additional roads approved since the last map publication subject to the
vehicle and operator meeting all criteria which define the vehicle combination and meeting all conditions
of access listed below.
It is a condition of access that B-Triples operating in NSW:

Be enrolled and monitored in the IAP with Roads and Maritime Services.
The operator of a GML B-Triple must hold National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme
(NHVAS) maintenance management accreditation for the vehicle.
The vehicle must also be fitted with certified Road Friendly Suspension (RFS) on all the axle
groups other than the front steer axle.
When operating a B-Triple at CML the operator must meet the conditions listed above and must
hold National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) Mass Management Accreditation
for the vehicle

LACHLAN SHIRE COUNCIL AREA

and concessional mass limit (CML) on all Lachlan Shires local and regional roads subject to the
following conditions:
Road Conditions
1: No travel if there is water over the road
2: No travel if the road is closed, and no travel on unsealed roads if restricted to light vehicles up to 3
tonnes due to rain, or if other temporary restriction applies – listen tolocal radio stations or visit the shires
website www.lachlan.nsw.gov.au;
3: Maximum 80 km/h speed on all unsealed roads and sealed roads where the seal is so narrow as to
require travelling on the unsealed shoulder to pass another vehicle.
Travel Conditions:
1: No reversing in or out of a road or depot
2: No stopping or parking in urban streets within 10m of a driveway for over 15 mins;
3: No loading or unloading cargo in urban streets;
4: Any conditions applied by NHVR or RMS to heavy vehicles using State Roads apply to Council
managed local and regional roads, e.g escort and signage requirements
