Donor of Hope Program
ABC Recycling is engaging its corporate partners to donate scrap metal in support of BC
Women’s Newborn Intensive Care Unit. Each year approximately 1,400 critically ill newborns
are admitted to BC Women’s Hospital Newborn ICU. Here, these tiny patients receive the
advanced, often life-saving medical care they need. The 60-bed unit is the largest, most
advanced and specialized newborn critical care facility in BC, staffed by a diverse group of
highly experienced neonatal specialists. But leading edge care requires leading edge equipment. To continue to provide the very best life-saving care, state-of-the-art tools and technologies are needed. Donors of Hope will help make that happen.

K: Tell me about your work experience prior to joining ABC
Recycling. A: I worked for Yellow Pages Group, first in the
Billings Department and then the Commissions Department. Prior to Yellow Pages I was with Rampar Industries as
an Inventory Clerk.

K: What is your educational background? A: I have my BBA
in Accounting from BCIT and am currently working towards my CPA designation.

K: What is your favourite movie? A: Dumb and Dumber is
one of my favourites.
K: What do you like to do in your spare time? A: Go to the
gym and travel. I just got back from England.
K: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it
be?
A: Vancouver because of the nice scenery. It is safe and a
great place to raise a family. My second choice would be
Miami because of the beach.
K: What is your favourite lunch spot around ABC? A: Subway or Mucho Burrito. The line-up is shorter at Subway.
