Our history
Since 1985 the Lutheran community
seriously
started
thinking
about
educational concerns. A group of
Lutheran teachers began to develop the
idea of setting a school that could
embody an educational alternative
proposal from a Lutheran point of view
of holistic education.
In 1993 the Instituto Gutenberg starts
its educational labor with the kinder
garden, including the teaching of
German
language,
this
being
a
particular characteristic of the institute
nowadays.
In 2006 the first group graduated from
high School.
The scientific thinking, the value of the
question, the teachers’ commitment
and the ecumenical openness made
Instituto Gutenberg get the recognition
of the society in Posadas.

The educational propose
The school is a place for citizenshipbuilding. Luther and the Reformation
understood education as:
“…the necessary process to form and
qualify citizens to help them discern about
the aspects of civil government based on
education … the prosperity of the city is set
in the quality and capacity of its citizens”.
