Sept. 22, 1 p.m. & 7 p.m., Francis Hall Theater Tres Vidas’ (Three Lives) Based on the lives of 3 legendary Latin American women: Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, Salvadoran activist Rufina Amaya and Argentinean poet Alfonsina Storni, this live musical performance is in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Oct. 1-3 John Updike Society The John Updike Society Conference A once-in-a-lifetime glimpse into the life and literature of author John Updike.
