Attending 50% of community, regional or leader support
meetings, participating in 1 community, regional or Council
event, serving in additional volunteer capacity, serving as

Performing multiple community tasks, completing all
required training, has not received Soaring High before
Contributes to the region’s girl programming by running a
girl event for the first time
Accepting more girls into the troop, so troop size exceeds 15
girls, ensuring more girls are served
Recognizes various commitments to the community within
the Girl Scout Year, where no other awards criteria fits.
Candidate is not receiving any other Regional Award at this
time. Level 2 may be awarded when nominee continues
service and has received the award before.
Recognizes a volunteer who is both a leader (for multiple
troops or a multi-level)
Recognizes one individual member of each Regional
Committee for outstanding support and service to the
Regional Committee Chair

implement the Girl Scout Leadership Experience through use
of the national program portfolio or who has contributed
outstanding service in support of the council’s mission
