Parent Tip:
By the end of Y2 your child should be very confident with the division facts of the
2, 5 and 10 times tables. If they are still not sure about division, help them to work
out these problems by using counters (buttons, pasta shapes or small toys – just make
sure they are all the same shape and size). Really let them take their time on this and
guide them through as best you can – it takes a while to get the hang of division!
