Hi I’m Lauren Heys, the Mindset Minx at Moxxi.
Thank you for taking the time to download our Moxxi Media Kit and read about what we do.
At Moxxi we combine all the best tools and techniques from Life Coaching, Positive Psychology, Nutrition,
Personal Training, and Success Training to help women live a more vibrant and courageous life. We work with
women all over Australia to define what success is and break down the self-imposed barriers to go out and get
it. We inspire individuals to live with energy and make the most out of the time they are given each day.
Life is short, let’s face it. Many of us live our lives pondering what we will do, or what we would like to do
and in most cases never actually do it. In truth, every decision we make today has a long reaching effect
on our lives. If we decide it’s ok to let others determine our happiness we will spend our whole life
unhappy. If we would love to have a big family and shut down every relationship opportunity, then soon it
will be too late. If we want to live a life of balance but give every ounce of energy to one thing then we
will miss out on life. You get the picture.
That is what we talk about at Moxxi. Based on the CORE Principles we work through purpose, values,
goals, health and ultimate happiness. How to align your life to achieving success – whatever that means
for you.
For me life is all about living each day to the full, being grateful and positively influencing as many people as
possible. I started Moxxi to live my purpose and empower others to find theirs. It’s never too early or too late
to live life on purpose.
Now it’s time for you to design YOUR life and help those around you in work and play do the same!
Thank you for your interest in working together, I look forward to speaking with you.

About Lauren Heys
Lauren is passionate about empowering and motivating people to reach their full potential. Fascinated with
the differences between those who live a life of vibrance, courage and enthusiasm, achieving things they
never thought possible, and those who seem stuck – Lauren has dedicated her adult life to understanding
motivation and success.
In everything, Lauren believes there is no quick fix, or special ingredient. The only way to design your life and
live with fulfilment is to change your mindset and apply techniques and strategies which are learnt along the
way.
Lauren is herself a dedicated student of self-development and has lived a life putting her learnings and
teachings into action. Always striving to better herself and enjoy life more, Lauren uses her experiences to
help her clients to overcome fears and live the life they design. In all she does Lauren is a no-nonsense, fuss
free kind of coach who simplifies and normalises strategies so her clients and audiences can go out and
implement them.
In her seminars Lauren cuts through the hype and presents strategies and stories to highlight what actually
works. She is committed to the success of those around her and it shows as she loves to share everything she
knows.
Her seminars are vibrant and fun, thought provoking and life-challenging. With her no nonsense and ‘blunt as
a butterknife’ approach Lauren will leave you with a head full of great ideas and the motivation to go and get
them.
“To get results you first have to define what is important to you – you are the only person who knows, so
back yourself and be amazing!” – Lauren Heys.

About Gemma Gray
Gem is a graceful, open-hearted women with a quick wit and infectious smile. With a background in not-forprofit management, Gem has worked for a very broad range of arts and media organisations across the
country and internationally including Sotheby’s, the ABC, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Melbourne International
Arts Festival, Ten Days on the Island, Stompin’ Youth Dance Company and Regional Arts Victoria. Originally
from Launceston, Tasmania, Gem has been fortunate to live in Perth, Hobart, Turin (Italy), Edinburgh
(Scotland), and now calls Melbourne ‘home’.
A fortunate upbringing in Tasmania led Gem to a life filled with opportunity and belief that she could do
anything. With that wonderful opportunity however, came overwhelming feeling of paralysis by analysis – If I
can do anything, what should I do? Believing that the Festival world was for her, Gem set out to carve a
successful career early on in her working life within this realm. However, it was not what Gem had expected
and on many levels didn’t align with her values. After much trial and error with other positions and
organisations, Gem finally got the wake-up call she needed and took the plunge into launching Moxxi with her
old friend Lauren. Now Gem could use her years of marketing and management experience combined with her
passion for living each day to the full and as healthy and happy as possible. It also affords Gem the opportunity
to connect with other women and empower them to love themselves and learn to have wonderful
relationships with those around them through the power of mindset coaching and communication.
A Personal Trainer, Coach, Communications Guru and great Public Speaker, you’re in great hands when you’re
working with Gem.

photos of people trying to look as skinny as they can
but claiming that “strong is the new skinny” and
“muscles are beautiful”. At the end of the day they are
still boiling it down to body image when Gem argues
that it is about SO much more than that.
- Gem is therefore proud that you will never see a
before and after photo or half-nude shot at Moxxi.
You’re worth more than that.

The Power of Purpose: Become irresistible in business and life
Harnessing purpose is the key to success in modern business. Most companies like to believe their staff are
striving for a similar goal and are excited to turn up to work. However, in reality most employees are jaded,
disengaged, unproductive and simply on ‘auto-pilot’.
By investing time to understand the WHY that drives you, your business, and your employees, you will get
immediate and long lasting alignment of goals and why’s.




How to define your why and how it relates to your choices.
How your why determines your work.
How to build a culture of success and commitment.
Using the Moxxi CORE Principles to create a purpose driven life.
Believe it or not: Uncovering the number 1 reason why businesses fail
Thousands of people have ideas, many of them magnificent. Why is it that some of them fail and others
succeed? Following the Moxxi CORE Principles we examine the possibility of mindset and the power of
courage.




The reasons why we succeed and fail
How to train yourself to succeed
The oxymoron of self-sabotage
The importance of momentum
The Productivity Question: To multitask or not to multitask
Have you ever heard of the old Chinese proverb “to chase after two rabbits means to catch none”? In a world
full of competing commitments how do we choose what to focus on? If energy goes where energy flows, what
do we put our energy into?
By clearly defining a purpose and values set, the answers become clear.




What is a purpose.
What are values.
How to align them to get the greatest possible outcome.
How to channel your energy to this.
Self-confidence: How to get it and how to manage it
Self-confidence – to truly believe in oneself – is a great desire of so many people. Why is it that we ignore all
the evidence we’re shown that should encourage our self-belief? How come we can be confident in some
areas and not at all in plenty of others? How do we manage our self-confidence so we don’t appear ‘cocky’?




What is self-confidence.
Learn to be more confident.
Feel the fear and do it anyway.
Managing your confidence.

Moxxi – The word “Moxie” is a word of the English language that traditionally means ‘courage/spirit/daring’.
We took this word and tweaked it to represent women with the double ‘x’ for the female chromosome.
Therefore, Moxxi now means – women with courage.
