October 2002 saw the first of the ‘Bali Bomb’ incidents, and despite the decline in tourism to the beautiful island of Bali, it was decided to forge ahead and continue with the opening of the Bali office. Beginning with just 4 office staff, the company was small, however by 2008 we had an office staff of 20, with 40 guides and drivers. Moving forward to 2015, we have an office staff of 76, along with 63 guides and 29 drivers, making us the largest inbound handler for the English speaking market. The shareholders of the Indonesian company include Yasa Sediya, Wirya Adnyani and Destination Asia companies in Thailand and Vietnam. Both Balinese partners are still very active within the company as Managing Director and Country Finance Manager. As well so is the Operations Manager, Mr. Adiyanto, who join in the beginnings. Destination Asia Indonesia is expanding and we are continually adding new clients to our portfolio. All of our clients are unique, but we handle all of them with the same level of professionalism, guest experience and service. Destination Asia Indonesia has evolved into an organization that serves five main market segments including the FIT/Leisure/Wholesale market with about 66,000 travellers being served annually on ground in Indonesia including hotel accommodation management. Additional we operate Incentives and meeting/conferences for about 3,000 guests from various markets and handle the shore-excursions and services for about 176 cruise calls this year and ca. 47.000 passengers. In total we served over 116,000 client per year. Destination Asia Indonesia is fortunate to boast an experienced and professional team, from our Directors to our Drivers. We are determined to provide the best possible services and products to our clients and the industry, maintaining strong relationships with all our partners Awards • ITTA Award for Indonesia Leading tour operator Year 2013/2014 • ITTA Award for Leading DMC Year 2012/2013 • Pelindo III: Customer Award Year 2012 • ITTA Award for Indonesia Leading DMC Year 2011/2012 • ITTA Award for Indonesia Leading DMC Year 2010/2011 4444 W. Indonesia is as varied as it is unique. The island of Java entices the visitor with an abundance of aweinspiring volcanic scenery and some of the most impressive temple complexes in all Asia, including UNESCOlisted Borobudur and Prambanan. Kalimantan, Indonesia’s portion of Borneo, is covered in dense jungle and rich in flora and fauna, whilst the peculiarly shaped island of Sulawesi is home to the fascinating Toraja people and their distinctive ancestral homes and elaborate funeral ceremonies. Exploring Nusa Tenggara is a delight. The picture-postcard Gilis offer the perfect island-getaway, Komodo is home to the world’s largest (and most notorious) lizard and the seas surrounding Lombok present some excellent snorkelling and diving opportunities. On delightful Flores the scenery is breathtaking and littlevisited Sumba is an off-the-beaten track adventure waiting to be discovered. For many, Bali is the highlight of Indonesia’s 17,000 islands. It is an island where rituals and spiritual beliefs define everyday life and glorious coastline and natural wonders abound. The rich and fascinating culture is instantly enthralling and mesmerising for the visitor, whilst the island’s natural beauty is exceeded only by the friendliness of its charming people. Sun drenched beaches, exotic temples, exciting adventure opportunities and world-class spas are all within proximity to luxurious boutique hotels, resorts and private villas, many distinctive by their classic Balinese design. From exotic and spiritual to adventurous and challenging, Indonesia has it all and presents the perfect opportunity to fulfil the ultimate travel experience. Favorite Quote: DA team in Bali were great! Very helpful, professional and accessible whenever needed. All guides were helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating to last minute changes. The client was very happy with the trip as a whole and together with DA we delivered an excellent showcase, an element that other agencies in the past few years have failed on 4444 W.
