Join us as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo at the
Senior Center. We will have a Mexican Fiesta
Lunch and prizes will be given out for the
most colorful clothing!
Our theme, “Age Out Loud!” is intended to
give aging a new voice, one that reflects
today’s older adults. They expect to continue
to live their lives to the fullest, and they’re
insisting on changes that make that possible.
MOTHER'S DAY RECOGNITION

6 Week Workshop

Space is limited!
Live Well is a self-management program
for anyone living with a chronic condition, for
example (but not limited to): arthritis,
cancer, heart disease, diabetes, pain, stroke,
Depression and Parkinson’s.
Live Well meets weekly for 6 sessions to discuss
topics such as: managing
symptoms and medications, working with your
health care team, effective problem-solving, how
to relax and handle difficult emotions, and many
more.

posture is important to balance, which helps to
prevent falls.
Other benefits of good posture are a healthy
spine, improved circulation and
digestion, and easier and deeper breathing.

of the Board of Directors for FRIENDS.
FRIENDS is non-profit corporation that
provides the WSC with financial support by raising money for programs
not funded by the county budget. They
meet the second Wednesday of each
month at 1:00 pm.
The closing date for nominations is
Friday, May 19, 2017 at 4:30 pm .
Nomination forms are available at the
front desk. If there are more nominees
than the 7 open positions, an election
will be held. Election ballots will be
available first part of June.

Congregate Meal Suggested Donations
For those 60 or better, there is a donation box in the lunch room which has a suggested donation chart
based on monthly income. For guests under 60, the cost is $5.75, which must be paid to staff .
