Culture of Growth & Excellence (Building capacity, partnerships with stakeholders, culture of respect) Our mission is to inspire and cultivate a culture that embraces and integrates technology to enhance the learning process by providing relevant and personal learning experiences that prepare our students to successfully contribute to a global society. After analyzing our Data with the Division Testing Specialist and our Instructional Leadership Team, there were no significant findings or gaps in grades 3-5 SOL reading and math test results. See attached Data Summary Reports at the end of the PCI plan. In addition, our overall reading, math, history, and science scores were all above 90% passing rate (see chart below). Beyond our academic areas, data from other areas show: Yearly attendance -96.5% Discipline -37 incidents with 2 students accounting for 15 of the 37 reports. Due to the data above showing that we were strong performers and Thoroughgood’s selection as a Digital Anchor School where 1:1 technology is present, we are centering our work around Strategic Objective #2: Multiple Pathways. More specifically, providing personalized learning opportunities for students. Numeracy (specific focus on AMO if applicable) Choice By June 2016, 100% of the students will be provided at least two opportunities quarterly, for authentic learning through multiple pathways, as evidenced by a Multiple Pathways Chart.
