Determination and perseverance
reaps rewards for sisters and son
Two sisters who hail
from the North Coast
in
KwaZulu-Natal
completed their Doctor
of Philosophy Degree
in Quality Management. Dr I. Naidoo, a
senior Life Sciences
educator at Fairbreeze
Secondary
School
and Dr S. Moodley
who is a senior Maths
educator at Seatides
Combined School concurred that pursuing
the PhD degree was
grueling and challenging. It is through hard
work, determination,
dedication and overcoming obstacles that
brings triumph.
Dr S. Moodley, who
despite dealing with
the tragic loss of her
businessman husband
Mr Raymond Mood-
ley during her study in
2014 had the will to
persevere.
Although
Dr I. Naidoo also experienced setback in her
study as her husband,
Mr R.G. Naidoo who
is Deputy Principal at
Seatides Combined had
to undergo a triple bypass last year also displayed determination to
complete her study.
With the odds stacked
up against these two
ladies as well as the
demands of being educators and mothers,
their resilience saw
them graduating with
their PhD degrees last
Tuesday evening. Their
passion for the learning
areas that they teach led
Dr Moodley to conduct
her PhD study in the
field of Mathematics

The benefits of Chiropractic
Our lifestyles are fast
changing and we have become more susceptible to
spine and joint injuries.
Repetitive-motion jobs,
inappropriate
footwear
and incorrect posture are
some of the factors that
can lead to musculoskeletal problems.
These activities manifest
themselves in the form of
headaches, shoulders and
neck stiffness, back pain,
Med. Slingers
3kg for R130
wrist pain and many more.
Chiropractic can help alleviate these symptoms
through various treatment
methods such as spinal
and joint adjustments, acupuncture, electrotherapy
and soft tissue therapy.
