Sophomores and Juniors: If you haven’t taken the ACT’s yet, sign up to get a discount on signing up for your first
ACT. The first 40 sophomores or juniors to show their admission ticket for the February ACT to their counselor will
receive a $25 rebate from THS. The registration deadline is January 8th, so get online and register for your first
ACT now. Remember this offer is only for sophomores and juniors signing up for their first ACT and you must show
your admission ticket to your counselor to be eligible for the rebate! If there are any questions, please see Mrs.
Lane or Mr. Bluey.
The Business and Marketing Open House Pizza Luncheon on Friday, December 11 during B and C in the
Community Room. Come to learn about all of the exciting classes you can take at Tallmadge High School to help
prepare you for success in college and beyond. Please see or email Mrs. Haller, Ms. Brendel, Ms. Giles or Mr.
Jividen or a DECA or BPA student to register to attend by today.
As state testing will continue in the Library for the remainder of the week, the Writing Center will NOT be open at
all. It will reopen next week – all academies through Thursday.
The Junior Class is selling SANTAGRAMS!!! Send your friend, special someone, or favorite teacher a candy cane
with a personal note. Each Santagram is $1 and can be purchased during academy. Deliveries will be made
December 18th!!
Attention Spanish club.. Next Thursday December 17th will be the annual Spanish club “White elephant” gift
exchange during B and C Academy. Please see Sr. Slivka if you have interest in participating… You will need to
bring a gift worth $5 or less to participate…
Attention Biomimicry Club: We will meet on Tuesday during academy B in Mrs. Benedict’s room. Note, our
meeting is on Tuesday, not Friday. We will discuss out 2 liter bottle pick up – so be there!

please report to Mrs. Lewis’s room at the beginning of B academy to begin recycling.
