Catch the Wave!
We’ll be makin’ music by learning science! Marcey Walsh, the Science Lady, explores
how whoopee cushions, slinkies and water balloons explain the science of sound and
music in a way you’ll NEVER forget. We’ll have BIG fun learning about tiny little vibrations!
(You also get a booklet of simple hands on activities to build musical instruments!)
Light up your Life!
Lasers, prisms and a light wall make this interactive program
dramatic and memorable as we explore the secrets of light and
color that make art possible. Science and art make an
irresistable combination!
“Darkable” room for most dramatic show, anything
but outside in daylight will work.
TEENS
BYOB - Bring Your Own Brain!
This is your brain on paper! We’ll need: Markers, Paper and Teens with lots of BIG ideas
Harness Mind Mapping - the method both Leonardo da Vinci and Bill Gates used to let their
brains out to play! While having fun with color and their unique drawing styles, teens SEE
the connections between what they want and what they must do to make it happen.
