Michael Oakes,
Actor and Scholar,
presents the
greatest story
Jack London ever
wrote: his life.
From the age of nine, London toiled
as a “wage-slave” factory worker,
oyster pirate, sailor, writer, and
rancher. In his 40 short years, London
roamed the globe from the Klondike
to the South Seas and Asia. He twice
ran for mayor of Oakland, and was
recruited as a presidential candidate.
The production is drawn from
London’s diaries, writings and letters.
